Postlingvistisk tale (ehhh, f, sn, mm, euhe)
Sound installation
Postlingvistisk tale (ehhh, f, sn, mm, euhe) [Postlinguistic speech (ehhh, f, sn, mm, euhe)] consists of a podium, speakers and a lectern holding a book that consists of five transcribed conversations about linguistic limitations. It has become a collective narrative on gender, identity, integration, illness and life experiences that clearly demonstrates the limitations of the Danish language in its attempt to reflect the colorful and nuanced world we live in.
All non-lingual sound in the conversations have been removed from the text and appears as a soundwork coming from the speakers. The text is in Danish.
