Text work


The text work Paralingual Index no. 1 (2023) presents a new communication system consisting of 32 new symbols that I have invented and designed.

Each symbol represents a paralinguistic sound phenomenon in our language; the non-verbal sounds that occur when we cannot find the words - including sighs, smacks, coughs, inhalations and exhalations, laughter, etc.

The work has been included in the group exhibition Summer Crush at Arden Asbæk Gallery (DK) and the group exhibition Ex-studenter från Konsthögskolan i Malmö at Galleri Arnstedt (SE).
