This is a Country, no?

Four characters: Their stories were first articulated in the short-story SACREDIA // Island (2017), later became attractions in an artist-driven project space in Copenhagen, where a tour guide led the audience through the two cities (2017) and finally ended up panning between four speakers at Gallery FISK in Bergen (2018). In this installation the characters were each given their own voice first articulated through text (see publication This is a country, no?) where the possibilities and limitations in a Word-document influenced both the sounding effect that the visual expression of the text allowed for. These texts acted as graphic scores for the opera singer, Íris Björk to interpret.
